Brokerage & commissioning: Artists
We are currently revising the S Yorkshire Arts Consortium, along with other board members, to ensure it is fit for new markets.
We have been working with Arts Council England Yorkshire on an R&D project to increase opportunities for the arts to benefit from increasing opportunities for contracts being put out to tender, and from individual budgets.
We are keeping a close eye on developments in other parts of the country to find out the best way of doing things.
Much of the information on this is complex, and we will shortly be placing user friendly resources for artists to download from the research.
We are planning a training & support programme for artists, and developing a brokerage service to advocate for quality, experienced artists.
