Eventus

Eventus exhibited the Guildford Grange images and films from our Look at Me! Women and Ageing Programme at Sheffield Town Hall on Monday 3 October as part of  Sheffield Older People’s Day.

The poster image of Hermi, legs aloft on her mobility scooter, was recognised  by many visitors from the banners, publicity flyers and press coverage and has clearly won a place in people’s affections.

Several of the images are now permanently installed in the Age UK office on Arundel Gate and others in the University of Sheffield.

The project officially ended on 30 September but the dissemination and academic publications continue into 2013.

We are discussing plans with partners to  develop the project in a number of ways, and will be posting a summary of the research responses to the exhibition on site.
